Valorant’s latest agent is Gekko. He is a Sentinel, and will surely be the next main of many players. Gekko is not only a cool dude, but he has some of the best abilities in an agent. Can you imagine planting and diffusing the spike remotely? Well, this agent surely can. This not only makes Gekko stand out from the crowd but also will change the gameplay.

This agent is quite unique. He has multiple buddies giving him the benefit on the battlefield. So if you’re going to main Gekko, you must be familiar with all his buddies: Dizzy, Wingman, Mosh, and Thrash.

Gekko’s abilities: No buddies, No Abilities

Dizzy (E) – This ability sends Dizzy in a direction, allowing him to shoot plasma at enemies in sight. This is basically a flashing ability. Moreover, after the use, Dizzy turns into a globule that the player can interact with to use the ability again after the cooldown.

Wingman (Q) – This is the main highlight of the agent. It sends Wingman in the desired direction and then shoots a concussive blast at the first enemy it sees. The cool thing is that it can be used to plant and diffuse the spike. If Gekko has the spike, the Wingman can be targeted at a spike site to either plant or defuse the spike. This ability can also be re-used if picked by the agent.

Mosh Pit (C) – This is a grenade ability but is quite different. Mosh when thrown on the floor, explodes into a gooey mess, and after a certain time, it duplicates and ultimately explodes giving high damage to the enemy. This ability requires time to master as it takes a certain time to explode.

Thrash (X) – This is the ultimate ability of Gekko. Thrash is thrown which can be controlled via Gekko. The tiny creature can be used to spot enemies, and even hit enemies and detain them. Moreover,  Thras can be also recollected for re-use after a short cooldown.

Who should use Gekko?

The players who prefer sentinels should prefer Gekko. The player must be willing to take responsibility for the spike, as this agent can give an advantage in planting and diffusing. Whereas, the player should also be motivated to help the team. Since the main job of sentinels is to aid the team, if a player opts for Gekko, they should help out the team whenever necessary.
