Video: Check Out the New Fluid and Seamless Animation of Huawei’s HarmonyOS 3.1

Huawei HarmonyOS 3.1

Huawei’s HarmonyOS is not just gaining more popularity, it is also gaining more features each week. The mobile operating system that the Chinese tech giant announced some few years ago has already made its ways to the top 3. Earlier this year, we reported that HarmonyOS is now the 3rd largest mobile operating system in the world.

When Huawei first launched the operating system in 2019, it was mainly made for larger display products such as Huawei Vision and Honor Vision TVs. Huawei then launched the mobile version, which was the HarmonyOS 2.0 in June 2021 and now, we already have HarmonyOS 3.0 running on millions of devices.

Huawei is Already Working on HarmonyOS 3.1

Currently, Huawei is already working on a major update with more features, enhancements and optimizations. Huawei has started testing the HarmonyOS 3.1 on the Huawei P50 Pro for a week now. One of the testers has shared a short video of the interface which comes with new and smoother animations.

The video shared shows some changes to the animations for some parts of the user interface. From the video, we could see changed animations in the widgets as well as the notifications center. The clock has also moved from the top right corner to the top left corner. This also smoothly blends into a larger clock when a user slides down the notification center.

The new animations definitely come with improvements in interactivities, but the clock from the right to the left could also mean Huawei plans to do something different with it. Maybe the Chinese tech giant would like to place it in a left pill-shaped cutout selfie camera or a different kind of notch design.

Huawei HarmonyOS 3.1 will come with More Features

The widget combo shape selection also shows some improved animations with smoother transitions than the HarmonyOS 3.0. This also makes it feel a lot more interactive than its predecessor. This seems to be just a tip of the iceberg since the video shows only 12 seconds of the interface. There is definitely more than this and we will share them the moment we chance on them. For now, you can check the interface for yourself in the video below.
