Perhaps the most interesting thing about this extension is considering what the voice of ChatGPT ought to sound like... We know what Siri and Alexa sound like — but ChatGPT?

It's also worth considering how the accessibility of ChatGPT — both generally and specifically for those with specific needs — should also be recognized when understanding the importance of moving away from the current search model. I hadn't really thought about users of screen readers and ChatGPT until now — but I can hardly imagine my frustration if I were not a sighted user trying to make sense of Google's 10 blue links and wading through all the sponsored content and ads!

ChatGPT is a breathe of fresh air in comparison: simply ask a question and get a straightforward response!

This extension helps demonstrate other modalities of this experience — including hinting at how much better Alexa and Siri could become.

I think adding the ability for ChatGPT to talk is particularly beneficial for those who are visually impaired, as they may have difficulty interacting with text-only interfaces. By incorporating speech output, the extension can provide an additional modality for communication that could help make the ChatGPT experience more accessible and user-friendly for this population 👍 Well done guys 👏
