BBC报导，美国飞机制造大厂波音（Boeing）计划今年[裁员]2000人，主要是财务和人力资源部门，以进一步将更多资源投入在“产品、服务和技术开发”。
报导指出，波音近年面临诸多难题，包括其737 Max飞机在两次致命事故后停飞。波音表示，“我们将与团队保持透明沟通，预计在单位支援运作下降低人力需求。我们将一如既往支援受影响的同仁，提供资源与协助，在这段过渡期帮助他们。”
但波音表示，将继续以“工程和制造”为重点，增加员工人数。除了2022年招聘的1万5000名员工外，今年还计划再招聘1万人。
