Battery Life and Charging Speed Results of Galaxy S23 Ultra

The test shows that the Galaxy S23 Ultra beats the S22 Ultra in terms of endurance reading. S23 Ultra has an 18 hours leap over the predecessor. However, the most important part is that the phone beats its predecessor in each of the onscreen tests that GSMareana carried out.

Galaxy S23 Ultra achieved 5 hours more in video runtime and 4 hours more in web browsing. These are pretty impressive numbers, as the phone has the same battery capacity as its predecessor.

But what is more important is that the S23 Ultra is highly competitive against the Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max. Now, that is something Samsung’s big phones were not able to do in the last few years.

Compared to the iPhone 14 Pro Max, the Galaxy S23 Ultra has a higher endurance rating of 5 hours.

That said, the charging rate did not improve on paper. The S23 Ultra is still capped at 45W. However, the speed of charging has improved on real-world tests.

With the 45W charging adapter of Samsung, the phone got to 68% in 30 minutes. That is 8% more than the S22 Ultra. And most importantly, it is faster than the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
