And it will let you play the best PlayStation Vita games!

An Android port of the Vita3K will be publicly released this Sunday. And with that installed on your phone, you will be free to run any of the PlayStation Vita games that are publicly available for download. However, there is a catch!

Vita3K PlayStation Vita Emulator Will Not Be Available in Play Store

The developer, Macdu, gave all the information about the release on the project’s Discord channel. And from what the notes suggest, you should not expect the Vita3K to be available in the Play Store. Instead, the developer will offer the APK file and all the subsequent updates in the Discord channel.

Furthermore, the developed notes that the Sony PlayStation Vita Emulator is not going to be power-hungry. The minimum requirement for the emulator is an Arm64 chipset with Vulkan 1.0 support. And the device needs to be Android 7.0 or higher. However, we are yet to know about the minimum SoC and RAM requirements.

Nonetheless, the developer notes that you can play most of the PlayStation Vita 2D titles if your device meets the minimum requirements. And it is worth noting that the developer used POCO F3 to come up with the port.

In addition to that, the developer states that this Android port of Vita3K supports custom drivers on Snapdragon devices. More specifically, Adreno 600 series devices or higher will be able to utilize the open-source Turnip graphics driver, which will lead to a “big speed increase.”
