大众汽车官方宣布了对设计部高层进行人事调整。Andreas Mindt出任大众汽车乘用车品牌首席设计师，前任首席设计师Jozef Kabaň就任大众汽车创意艺术总监，并直接向负责技术开发的大众汽车乘用车品牌管理董事会成员汇报。
公开资料显示，Andreas Mindt毕业于德国普福尔茨海姆大学设计学院，1996年加入大众汽车集团。从1996年到2014年，他在大众汽车品牌出任了多项职位，包括负责第一代途观的设计和第七代高尔夫的外观设计。2014年至2021年间，他主导确立了奥迪品牌的全新家族外观设计，涵盖A1、e-tron GT、Q3和Q8等车型。2021年开始，Andreas Mindt担任宾利汽车设计部门总监，定义了宾利汽车的全新设计语言，该设计语言于2022年夏天在宾利穆莱纳BATUR车型上亮相。
Jozef Kabaň于1993年加入大众汽车设计部，期间参与了布加迪威龙等车型的设计工作。003年，他出任奥迪品牌外观设计主管；2008年至2017年间，担任斯柯达品牌设计部门主管。随后三年间，他在大众汽车集团以外的两个汽车品牌担任首席设计师，并于2020年重返大众汽车品牌，担任首席设计师。
对Andreas Mindt的加入，Jozef Kabaň表示：他曾于大众汽车集团任职，拥有丰富的国际化经验。大众汽车品牌正处于转型的关键阶段，Andreas Mindt的到来无疑将进一步塑造我们的设计语言。
