Seeking nominations for women startup founders in the creator economy. Nominate yourself or someone you know.
We are looking for women startup founders in the creator economy and influencer space.
Nominees must be women and have founded a creator-adjacent startup.
Nominate yourself or someone you know through this Google Form.
Insider is seeking nominations for our inaugural list of women founders in the creator economy and influencer space.
Startups that cater to content creators have boomed in the past two years.
After a rosy 2021 that saw 11 unicorns in the industry, 2022 was a slower year, with only four companies exceeding a $1 billion valuation, Insider previously reported based on data from venture-capital fund Antler.
But despite a complicated year, the space continues to grow and VC funds continue to invest in startups that cater to creators and influencers — some of them, like Night Ventures or Creator Ventures, have made investments in this area their focus.
Now, we are looking to highlight women founders in the creator-economy industry.
The list will be determined by Insider based on our reporting and the nominations we receive.
We will take into consideration factors like customer adoption, funding and financials, and its impact on the creator economy as a whole.
Please note, we will not be considering influencer-marketing agencies and talent-management firms for this list.
You can nominate yourself or someone you know via the Google Form below, until Monday, February 13. The form will close on that date, and we will not be accepting further applications past the deadline.

Altria's (NYSE: MO) stock rose nearly 6% on Feb. 1 after its fourth-quarter report. The domestic tobacco leader's revenue (net of excise taxes) stayed nearly flat year over year at $5.08 billion but missed analysts' estimates by $70 million. Altria's bottom line beat suggested that its traditional tactics of raising prices, cutting costs, and buying back shares still enabled it to squeeze out higher earnings per share as declining smoking rates throttled its shipments.
