Yes, You just need to define the mobile app in the Site Manager for the Launchpad behind SAP Mobile Start.
specify no system as the target is not a system by another app on the device. Then you can maintain other general properties, like app name, UI Technology and launch and install URLs.
So for MDK apps, you provide the URL Scheme in the launch URL field.

This will then show a card/tile inside the SAP Mobile Start app for your MDK app. When the user clicks on this it launches them into the Natvie/MDK app if its installed. if not they will be directed to the install URL you maintained.

Hi James Murphy,

Thank you for the reply.

  1. I need to understand how the mobile service is consumed in SAP Mobile Start as in the Architecture Diagram.
  2. Like what are all other native apps can be consumed in mobile start via mobile services.
  3. Other than site manager is there any other way to convert MDK app into native app?

Kindly, suggest if any reference blog available.
