RTX 40系列标配全新的12VHPWR 16针供电接口，但在RTX 4090上市后，屡屡发生电源线和接口被烧毁的情况。
虽然第三方调查显示官方提供的转接电源线存在瑕疵，但是NVIDIA一再否认有质量问题，声称是用户操作不当，自然也不会召回。
考虑到电源线垂直插入容易导致弯折，配件厂商CableMod 专门为RTX 4090打造了头部90度拐弯的电源线 ，平躺着就能插入，备受玩家青睐，一上市就被抢购一空。
但是，这个加强版也挂了。
