为了追赶对手 英特尔将图形芯片部门一分为二
新浪科技讯 北京时间12月22日早间消息，据报道，英特尔准备将图形芯片部门一分为二，之所以这样做主要是想重组业务，以便更好与英伟达、AMD竞争。
消费者图形部门将与客户计算部门整合，客户计算部门为PC提供芯片。加速计算团队将与数据中心、AI部门整合。
加速计算业务正在快速增长，因为AI越来越流行，这一市场被英伟达统治，英特尔需要快速追赶。
Wedbush Securities分析师马修·布雷森（Matthew Bryson）认为：“英特尔的重组并没有带来太多变化，它只是将产品与各自的销售组织对接，而不是让它们作为离散单元运营。”
英特尔图形芯片部门主管拉贾・科杜里（Raja Koduri）将会回到之前的职位，成为首席架构师，监督英特尔长远技术和芯片设计战略。
