RBI Governor Das: Underlying economic activity is strong, but external sector can hamper growth
RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das said the central bank monitors 70 fast-moving indicators, the majority of which are found in the “green box”.
He added that the impact of external demand will “dent” the economy, claiming the external sector is plagued by a fear of recession or clear visibility of slowing growth in a significant portion of the world.
