!!! Before we start make sure your device is unlocked, if you don't know how to do it below is link to official Xiaomi guide !!!

That link is down unfortunately. Can someone provide a working link? Or is it a generic process for every xiaomi device?

Same as other Xiaomi devices. If you have problems adding your account in the developer options, try doing it while connected to USA through a VPN, that's what I had to do. Also had to update my Windows drivers through Windows update while the pad was connected to my laptop to get fastboot to work, even though adb was ok

I did every listed in the guide. Device gets google protect certified but I stil don’t have Netflix app in play store. Netflix downloaded apk works fine though and widevine is L1.

I have the same situation - device passed certification, but Netflix is still not available in Play Store.
Also, several purchased games are not available also, their pages says "device is not compatible" (for example, Ovivo, Scalak, Zenge, Linelight).
They all are available in store on unmodified Pad 5 with locked bootloader.
One day has been passed since I applied SafetyNet fix.
Did something changed for you after your post?
Update: solved, see post #47

Thank you for the guild! It works great for me! Netflix is also not available in play store in my case as well
Use this modified SafetyNet fix module (just install it over original one):
Releases · Displax/safetynet-fix
As always, don't forget to clear data for Google Play and Google Services.
It will fix device integrity check and all apps in store, which require this check, will be available again.
Also, there is no need for that many steps and reboots, and no need to use enforce or DenyList (unless some your specific apps detects root and won't work because of that).
Just patch file in Magisk on tablet, flash it on PC, after first boot hide Magisk by changing name, turn on Zygisk, install modified SafetyNet fix module, clear data and reboot.

Thank you for your help!! Netflix appears again in my store! This should be a best SafetyNet fix version for now

I tried to reboot and re-flash patched image again, but there is no difference.
Unfortunately the procedure didn't work for me on EEA ROM. Once I flashed patched boot.img and rebooted, device stays stuck with MI logo and three blinking dots and doesn't boot. I let it in this state for one hour hoping that first boot just will take more time.
I tried to reboot and re-flash patched image again, but there is no difference.
Too bad!
Maybe you need the boot.img to be the same version as the current one on your tablet. Or just flash into Global ROM, I believe after unlocking your bootloader you can do that by using MiFlash.

You are perfectly right. Problem was that I used the boot.img from the first post and not the one from the version I'm currently running. After acquiring the correct version all worker. I'm happy that I have finally the root privileges and I can
What I'm missing now is the good community around this device. As it was announced as one of "few usable tablets" I was expecting big community around and amount of alternative ROMs. Apparently there is yet only few of them.

Glad it helps. True the tablet has been released for a while but doesn't get enough support around. The future might not be so bright. I still think we need more stable ROM not MIUI cause for some reason I cannot live with it even though it's quite smooth without any lagging in my case.

Well, actually this is my first MIUI device and my feeling is overall very good.
What I do not like is the amount of bloatware delivered with the ROM and very very limited scope of customizations. I prefer lighter ROMs from where I can even throw away unused applications, without any fancy animations motives and all other unneeded cra*.
I do not need so much performance, as I'm using the tablet mainly browsing, reading and playing videos in bed, so one of the key features for me is the battery lifetime.

Can I fix this or do I have to flash rom again?
Edit: Fixed it with extracting the correct boot.img
I was thinking that `DevCheck Device & System Info` can be used for this, but I moved to Arrow, without applying Magisk and Safetynet, and looks like `DevCheck Device & System Info` report L1, which is strange imo? I was thinking that after moving to Arrow I will need to patch boot.img. Netflix was also available for install for me.
it bootloops after flashing patched boot.img
how do i root arrowos13??
it bootloops after flashing patched boot.img
Which boot.img did use in magisk? An extracted one from your current installed rom? Which boot.img did you flash? The one magisk created?
