第二代骁龙8发布之后，根据它的编号SM8550-AB推测 可能还会有SM8550-AC版本 ，频率更高，有猜测认为是三星Galaxy S23系列的定制版。
据数码博主“i冰宇宙”最新曝料， 第二代骁龙8 AC版本确实存在，而且确实是给三星Galaxy S23系列单独开的“小灶”。
其中， X3 CPU超大核最高频率从3.2GHz提高到3.36GHz，幅度为5％，Adreno 740 GPU频率也从680MHz提高到719MHz，幅度接近6％。
当然，更高频率意味着更高性能的同时，也会带来更大功耗、更多发热，S23系列的散热如何有待观察。
