澳门向两家通信运营商发放 5G 牌照

澳门终于有 5G 了。据央视新闻报道，澳门特别行政区公报 7 日刊发行政长官批示，分别批准澳门电讯有限公司、中国电信（澳门）有限公司建立及营运一个采用第五代（5G）技术的公共地面流动电信网络，并提供相关的公用地面流动电信服务的权利，牌照有效期八年。
两家公司必须在牌照发出日起 12 个月内自建一个能 “良好覆盖澳门全境一半” 的 5G 网络系统，并提供商业服务；在其后 18 个月内以自建或共建共享或共用方式，将 5G 网络扩大到覆盖澳门全境。
中国大陆的 5G 服务于 2019 年 11 月正式开启商用，香港地区的商用 5G 服务于 2022 年 4 月推出，台湾地区的服务则是最早于 2020 年 2 月开通。至此，大中华区的两岸四地中，澳门终于迎来了 5G 时代。
