本月初谷歌发布了Pixel 7系列手机，这是谷歌乃至安卓系统的亲儿子，用上了很多谷歌倾力打造的技术，比如自研T2处理器，同时也是谷歌首次全面告别32位应用，转向纯64位时代。
在日前的开发者博客中，谷歌再次确认了Pixel 7系列是纯64位应用的手机，并解释了64位的各种好处， 比如减少内存应用，提高了性能及安全性。
具体来说，谷歌称运行64位应用可以访问32位程序不支持的指令和资源，
因此CPU性能可以提升25%，而且可以释放150MB的内存占用，
在32位应用中不论是否使用，这些内存都是要被占用的。
谷歌表态将鼓励开发者人员测试仅适用于64位的应用程序及更新，已经有开发者开始测试新配置的兼容性了。
