4年搞定5代CPU工艺：Intel 4 EUV年底投产 18A已有客户测试

在今天的财报会议上，Intel也公布了旗下的芯片工艺最新进展，重申了他们之前的目标，那就是4年内搞定5代CPU工艺，也就是Intel 7、Intel 4、Intel 3、Intel 20A及Intel 18A，其中Intel 7就是12代酷睿及现在13代酷睿用的，重点是剩下的4代工艺。
Intel 4是Intel首代EUV工艺，这一代会用上EUV光刻机，Intel 4工艺HP高性能库的密度可达1.6亿晶体管/mm2，是目前Intel 7工艺的2倍，高于台积电的5nm工艺的1.3亿晶体管/mm2，接近台积电3nm的2.08亿晶体管/mm2。
与Intel 7工艺相比，
在同样的功耗下“4nm EUV”工艺频率提升21.5%，功耗降低了40%。
Intel 4工艺会在自家的14代酷睿Meteor Lake上首发， CEO基辛格今天确认说该工艺会在今年底开始14代酷睿的生产， 处理器及OEM客户的产品会在2023年上市。
