@henry_m_paul Thank you. Our intent is to build an API test platform that is truly autonomous and that my 3 year old can test API which means the product need to be truly intelligent like few clicks. We looked at the complexities that exists in the API design, development and testing. Generating API tests from an Open API spec is the nirvana we wanted to achieve and hence Conektto.

@rams_211 @sri_vidhya2 When you upload your openAPI specification, we use NLP and ML algorithms to sample data and feed as input to our synthetic data generation engine. The platform automatically associates the test case with the test data and converts it to JSON collections ready to use.

We use unique patent pending ML algorithms like SMOTE (Synthetic minority over sampling technique), Markov Chaining for sampling data without compromising on PHI, PII etc. On top of this, our platform associates the generated test data automatically with API test cases. @rams_211 Very Apt for current aura of api world and ease to use tool. Based on initial walkthrough of tool and time I spent , looks like (spl in my zone - api automation for enterprise backend application) , 50% of effort is upfront saves and could be even more , if i get sometime to dig into. This is indeed atleast going to be good cost saving (in QA zone).

We have seen how the backend API testing team struggles with getting a clean API testing that not only validates data happy path and corner cases but truly validates OpenAPI constructs and design principles used by the development team. @juliane_jamelah_ong Talking about the tools that exist, our frustration was having to require several tools for end to end testing (functional and non functional). Standardizing API Design with design first mindset was another missing value that we wanted to address.
