Put SOC 2 compliance on autopilot

Hi Product Hunt! 👋

Thanks @mwseibel, for the help today and throughout our batch at YC!

I'm Cory O'Daniel, one of the co-founders of Massdriver. My co-founders @chris_md and @dave_williams6 (he's #6 here, but the #1 Dave Williams in my book) have been working together for years in the cloud operations and "DevOps" space.

We've seen organizations struggle with the complexity of managing cloud resources and workloads. We've seen how it impacts the morale and relationships between operations teams and engineering teams. Engineering teams are frequently blocked by operations teams. Operations teams are overwhelmed and outnumbered by their engineering partners.

After years of watching the DevOps¹ movement fail, we decided there had to be a better way.

We wanted to build a platform enabling engineers to self-serve cloud resources and applications while allowing operations teams to focus on scalability and reliability.

Since launching in March, we've received great feedback from our customers, and we've listened to them! The number one requested feature has been application support.

Today we are announcing general availability for applications in Massdriver. We support running serverless, containerized, and virtual machine workloads on AWS, Azure, and GCP. Don't see the integration you need? Our application integrations are open source. Databricks, Spark Jobs, and more are just a pull request away.

With Massdriver, teams can:

💻 Design golden paths for their applications, whether they are serverless, containerized, or in virtual machines.

🌐 Reproduce infrastructure and applications in minutes across environments or regions. Unlock disaster recovery, international expansion, and enterprise sales with customer-owned environments.

🤐 Skip the enterprise secret management contract. In Massdriver, secrets are directly injected into your workload's environment. There is no HashiCorp Vault to set up and no copy/pasted credentials. Just draw a line from your database to your app, and get back to work!

🏃 Rapidly prototype cloud architectures. Want to try your container app in a serverless function? Benchmark Cloud Pub/Sub vs. Kafka? With Massdriver, teams can experiment with new architectures in just a few minutes.

Anyone can sign up for Massdriver's free tier, which includes two managed cloud environments.

We ❤️ feedback! Please let us know what you think about Massdriver and how we can make the cloud easier to manage and make developers happier everywhere.
