在操作系统的大部分历史中，默认使用的是 Windows 控制台主机（Windows Console Host，conhost.exe），微软曾解释说，迁移到新的工具是需要巨大的努力。现在，Windows Terminal 成为最新的 Windows 11 2022 可选更新的默认体验终端工具。
10 月 19 日消息，此前微软已透露，将把 Windows Terminal 设置成为 Windows 11 系统默认命令行体验。在操作系统的大部分历史中，默认使用的是 Windows 控制台主机（Windows Console Host，conhost.exe），微软曾解释说，迁移到新的工具是需要巨大的努力。现在，Windows Terminal 成为最新的 Windows 11 2022 可选更新的默认体验终端工具。
微软今天面向 Windows 11 版本 22H2 用户发布了 KB5019509（Build 22621.675）OOB 带外更新补丁。该更新带来了标签式文件资源管理器、增加了任务栏的溢出菜单、为复制的项目增加了操作建议功能。然而，微软并没有在其最初的发布说明中强调 Windows Terminal 的变化。相反，微软就这一主题专门发表了博文。
用户可以打开设置应用程序，并导航到隐私与安全 > 面向开发者，会注意到 Terminal 旁边的下拉菜单写着“让 Windows 决定”。而 Windows 11 的最新更新默认使用了 Windows Terminal。
微软表示，Windows Terminal 包装了许多用户喜爱的功能，包括多个配置文件、标签和窗格、命令调色板和自定义等。
目前最新的 Windows 11 更新还只是可选更新，将在下个月星期二开始普遍推出。IT之家获悉，该命令行工具将在安装 Windows Terminal 1.15 或更高版本后生效。
