据新京报报道，据介绍，全球工程机械产业前五强中，湖南企业就占了两席(徐工和三一重工)，尤其是智能制造技术的赋能，使得湖南制造业在很多方面走在了全国乃至全球前列。
形象地说， 在湖南，10秒可以生产一台铝轮毂，80秒可以生产一台发动机，5分钟可以下线一台挖掘机。
