10月10日消息，据知名爆料人Mark Gurman最新消息，苹果AirPods系列三款产品和Mac配件（如妙控键盘、妙控板）都可能在2024年前改用USB-C接口。
10月4日，欧洲议会通过了一项新指令，要求制造商在2024年底前采用USB-C接口作为消费电子设备的通用端口。
Gurman表示，苹果为了遵循这项立法，将在2024年底使其产品采用USB-C接口，而iPhone 15系列将会在2023年秋季提前适配。另外入门版iPad是该系列唯一配有Lightning接口的产品，预计在年底切换至USB-C接口。
Gurman还推测苹果将会在2024年3月发布一款采用Lightning接口的新款iPhone SE，并可以在欧洲售卖。
据悉，苹果的Lightning闪电接口早在2012年就首次问世了，使用时间达到10年。Gurman认为苹果使用USB-C接口的时间不会太长，他相信苹果的目标是过渡到无线时代，例如AirPower无线充电板。
