Don't know but I got this far. Does this mean that all LTE frequencies are enabled?I'm now getting 2 options in Band Section. TMB and XAA. Whenever I choose XAA. and reboot the attachment is the result. And if I choose TMB the latter. Notice there's no 5G bands enabled. Not really concerned about it because my sp doesn't offer 5G.

The two sections in the Band Selection are for Sim 1 and Sim 2. They're not for you to select and reboot, it's for checking what bands are enabled on which SIM. Since you only have one sim, you should always click the first option and see what bands it lists there.

What bands does it show you listed when you click the first Sim in band selection (I'm guessing TMB)?

Does your carrier allow all subscribers to use 5G, or do they restrict it to some plans? Which carrier are you using? And again, are you sure there's 5G in your area?

You said you're in Chile, and I can see that Chile only uses 5G NSA and not SA. Make sure you didn't enable SA as it can cause problems if your provider doesn't use it but is testing it. Basically this option (make sure to disable it for both stacks),
  • Service Mode Main Menu -> UE SETTING & INFO -> SETTING -> PROTOCOL -> NR5G -> NR5G SA/NSA Mode Control -> SA DISABLE.
Also, did you try the DISABLE CA COMBO CHECK option?

One more thing, did you make sure 5G is enabled in Settings (phone settings not service menu) -> Connections -> Mobile Networks -> Network Mode?

Can you also dial *#*#4636#*#* and then click Phone Info and check what it says on that screen for "EN-DC available", "DCNR Restricted", and "NR Available"? There is also a "Set preferred network type" option there, make sure it is also set to 5G/LTE or any option with 5G.

Keep in mind only one SIM can use 5G at a time. You cannot connect to 5G on both sims. Only the SIM you set as primary SIM will connect to 5G.

i got the monthly update just today, so bands were reset, i've done all the steps again, (also disabled the e-sim) and only using the normal simcard. I live on an area with full 5G coverage.
my provider is ENTEL,
  • Service Mode Main Menu -> UE SETTING & INFO -> SETTING -> SYSTEM -> Next page 4 times -> SET LTE BAND CONFIG -> SET DEFAULT LTE BAND.
    (Restarted phone)
  • Service Mode Main Menu -> UE SETTING & INFO -> SETTING -> PROTOCOL -> NR5G -> NR5G PRUNE STATUS -> REMOVE NR5G PRUNE.
  • Service Mode Main Menu -> UE SETTING & INFO -> SETTING -> PROTOCOL -> GCF -> REMOVE ONLY NR WHITELIST.
    Restarted phone again

    then did the *#73#*

Selected the bands for for NSA

Very nice for sharing such a detailed description on how to do this. And when Samsung and/or the carriers catch onto these methods and render them no longer functional like with Google dialer, Samsung Band Selection app, and the Sales and Net code change methods, we will lose yet another means of gaining access to these menus. Before posting threads like this, one should think first.

The community is here for help. It's unfortunate that stuff like this comes out in this way but i doubt Samsung is out here spreading their word or at the very least giving users a way to be more informed about their products. So what, if they find out. This is not something new and not something that theyll patch and repatch and then forget later about it. They are absolutely known for using their own tricks over and over. It's not about thinking before coming out and saying something. It's about giving people information that should already be given. You shouldn't have to beg...call or do anything outside the normal for them to give you a product that you paid for....period.

And because it looks like your new here. Check out the rules. You might of missed some the info about respect and respecting others. And I'm not trying to bash you or talk any kinds of wrong way. This site is for development and help. And thats what we need to accomplish here.

Yes. I'm new on here, but not new to these methods on Samsung, which have been whittled down to only a few means left. Hopefully they aren't disabled in the future :/
Also, I have read the rules and my comment again, and hardly disrespected anyone on here. Perhaps you're are overly sensitive??

No sir. Never sensitive. I know better than to never stress anyone or anything especially on any forms of social media. I'm all for helping each other out and yes unfortunately threads like this have to come out. I, too have been around for awhile. And have worked with many good Devs. There's one thing i can say. If something disappears or get patched. It always comes back. They always forget to patch things again. There's just too much they think about when they release a phone and there's too much code to decipher. I'll give you an example....there was an EDL script used awhile ago. That could send your phone in EDL mode. Now that got patched awhile ago. And guess what...it works now. And all you have to use is a regular USB cable. No EDL cable. There's also one more thing thats part of it but i won't disclose that. It's that EDL script that they forgot to patch. To get a Samsung device into EDL with a regular cable...a script and the other thing is very big. It shows that they they're not perfect at all and that it's only a matter of time before they once again forget to patch something big.

I'll take back, the thing about respect. You comment came off as disrespectful. But that could if just been me, reading it completely wrong.

This method has been the same one since the S20 and before and is posted here on these forums in multiple threads for many years now.

Samsung isn't stupid, they already know about this method and decided not to do anything about it. When they decide to do something about it, that will change, and it will have nothing to do with this thread. Don't give me too much credit.

It looks like it's all enabled correctly to me. If you're not getting 5G, not sure what else we can do... It might be 5G coverage in your area, have you tried to go to other areas in the city?

Can you also try Step 2 to enable DSS & CDRX, and also try Step 3 to enable SA & NRDC? Try those then restart the phone to see what happens.

Is there any way you can confirm you can connect to 5G in this area by using a local phone? And even better if you can see what bands it's working on.

Maybe on the weekend as I am overseas atm

Are on PH now? Can you do it now for me. I have to confirm something. Thank you!
And last thing in band selection what CSC shows on the menu?

Note20 ultra.

Tried this
  1. Using SamFW FRP tool, go to MTP tab and click on "Enable Secret Code for Verizon". See the picture below. Note it works on any US CSC even though it says "for Verizon".
    • If in the program output you see it's getting stuck on "Waiting for DIAG", then dial *#0808# on your phone to open USB settings and select "DM + MODEM + ADB" then press OK. The program should then complete the step and then get stuck on "Disabling DIAG". When it does, using the *#0808# menu again, select "MTP + ADB" this time and press OK. Now the program should complete the step and say that secret codes was unlocked.
When I dial *# info nothing happens. On default call and google call app. Nothing happens. I dl'd samsung driver and when going to install says driver already installed.

We have the same phone but it works for me with VZW CSC or even XAA using both U and U1 firmware.
If you have a spare sim on other network try to insert it first then try it again.

Why would i need another sim card for it to work? I cant just get one for no reason.

Some CSC blocked the access of some codes.
