gcf whitelist blocks hidden or disabled 5g bands when you enable them. the only way to get those bands working
Can you tell me how you know this?
And what steps to take to make it work?
I also have a new gem I found that may help with enabling more 5g bands but I got very sick and I haven't tested it personally I'm starting to recover. Pray for me guys I've never been scared before like this.

This is the result of removing gcf whitelist on my SM-N986U1 it unlocks some 5G bands.

Hello All, Many people have asked about service mode and CSC related questions and I thought we should get a discussion going that is all in one place. *DISCLAIMER* I do not take any responsibility for any issues that may occur from changing...forum.xda-developers.com

Thanks I knew how to do it thru the menu,I just wondered if there's any specific method to doing it as it doesn't unlock any extra bands for me.
Only time I had extra 5G bands was after I flashed dsh firmware but it was a combo of Verizon and T-Mobile bands after a Sim swap it reverted back.
Switching CSC via Sam app or the one I buy credits from I have both and used both but sadly after switching CSC if you have a sim card in the phone as soon it boots ot sees the CSC is wrong and reverts .
So it's a waste we cannot use any CSC not related to our Sims in our phones after Android 11 I think because we cannot stop the reboot/reset.

I found a method about that and it really works just using an adb command
Check it here
How to Enable All Bands Through Service Menu on US/CA S22 series (including Sub-6 and mmWave)
better to disable only not Uninstall
adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.samsung.android.cidmanager

When you dial the last * in the string above, the service mode menu will automatically show. YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO HIT THE CALL ICON BUTTON TO MAKE A CALL AT ANY POINT.

As I've said even u and u1 works so it doesn't matter.
If it doesn't work try to read more comments on the thread.
U1 is the unlocked firmware without bloatwares.
