Fortunately LIS stays in S/4HANA for good. It's not in the compatibility scope. So you can use safely flexible planning and rough cut capacity check that is a feature of LIS flexible planning.
The only problem S/4HANA has with LIS is Inventory Controlling e.g. info structure S039 or transaction MC.9. Inventory Controlling conflicts with new material data locking concept that increases material documents performance. But you can switch the locking mode to the old one and still enjoy Inventory Controlling in S/4HANA.
