We are looking for a Senior Frontend Web Engineer to lead the building of a world class web version of our editor!
WHO YOU ARE:
You are obsessed with web and the freedom it can bring. You are thrilled by the idea of building a web application that empowers non-developers to build their own websites.
You are tired of working on boring, cookie-cutter applications and want to be somewhere where you can push the envelope of what is possible on the web. You love solving complex problems. You like working in an environment where you are empowered to come up with your own solutions to desired outcomes.
You are focused on getting to the right solution — not on being right — and enjoy collaborating with others who share that focus. You are a team player. You enjoy working with others and understand that together we can build something better than any one of us could have done alone.
You are devoted to the craft of building excellent UI interfaces that feel right at home on the web. You have a strong understanding of frontend web application architecture, and experience with React.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
You will build best in class UI/UX experiences on the web to enable users to make their own websites. You will collaborate with your teammates, considering trade offs of various technologies and approaches, and in executing solutions to complex problems. You will build out reusable systems so the whole team can iterate faster.
You will mentor your fellow frontend web engineers and maintain code quality through code reviews. You will advocate for best practices, accessibility, performance and quality.
