【CNMO新闻】8月7日，CNMO了解到，一份法庭文件显示，Facebook母公司Meta Platforms同意推迟收购VR公司Within Unlimited。

2022年7月，美国联邦贸易委员会（FTC）提起诉讼，寻求阻止该交易，并要求旧金山联邦法院的法官下达临时限制令，阻止这次收购。FTC称，拥有Facebook、Instagram、Messenger和 WhatsApp的Meta已是最大的VR设备供应商，Meta现在的做法，这将减少市场竞争，违反了反垄断法。
随后，在日期为8月4日的联合法庭文件中，Meta公司同意在2022年底前，或在法官决定这起案件是否可以继续进行后的第一个工作日之前，不完成这笔交易。据悉，Within Unlimited是一家VR公司，旗下产品包括健身应用《Supernatural》。
7月28日，Meta公布了其最新财报。数据显示，公司2022财年第二财季归属于母公司普通股股东净利润为66.87亿美元，同比下降35.66%；营业收入为288.22亿美元，同比下跌0.88%。其中，宇宙战略核心部门Reality Labs Q2收入4.52亿美元，同比增长48%；成本33亿美元；最终亏损28亿美元。
