Intel今年底将推出13代酷睿Raptor Lake，这是12的酷睿的改进版，升级8P+16E架构，最多24核32线程，其他规划变化不大，而真正架构大改的是明年的14代酷睿Meteor Lake系列。
14代酷睿将首次引入Intel 4制造工艺，并支持EUV光刻，虽然它就是原来的7nm，但是Intel认为它相当于业界的4nm，并且首次采用多芯片整合封装，CPU、核显、输入输出等各自独立，制造工艺也不尽相同。
在14代酷睿的核心单元中，
最新的Linux代码中显示Intel会加入新的AI单元，
命名为VPU，可以进一步加速深度学习、AI人工智能的性能。
据了解，这个VPU单元的设计来自于Intel的Movidius，后者是Intel 6年前收购的AI公司，当时他们创造的VPU架构是革命性的， 只需要1.5W功率就可以实现4TOPS的性能，能效比非常强大。
