7月22日深夜，不少用户在社交平台反馈称， 微信出现消息无法发送、文件传输助手用不了、无法发送图片等情况， 话题#微信崩了#迅速冲上微博热搜第一，引起网友热议。
对此，@腾讯微信团队 官微火速回应称，刚刚，
微信部分功能发生故障，有少量用户受到影响。目前，功能已经恢复中，很抱歉给大家周末带来不便。
据了解，去年10月18日，有不少网友投诉称，早上开始部分手机和PC端的微信就已经无法发送图片，即便发出后，接收方也无法正常查看图片，部分用户能收到缩略图，但是大图无法点开。
彼时，腾讯微信团队官微回应称，“刚刚，微信发送图片及文件功能发生故障，有部分用户受到影响。目前，此功能已经逐步恢复中，很抱歉给大家带来不便。 ”
