Are you happy with your Midnight color choice?

I’ve been seeing a ton of mixed reviews from people who have purchased and received their M2 Midnight color. Some people say it looks too much like a typical windows laptop (something I don’t personally care about), some saying the ease it picks up fingerprints is a dealbreaker, some people love it.
I’m waiting for my midnight to ship first week of August, debating whether I should cancel for another color while I still have time. Curious what everyone thinks and just thought I’d get this in “poll” form. Only hoping to get answers from people that have seen Midnight in person.

The store where I picked up my Midnight MBA had the Midnight and Starlight on display. Both look great. I don't think the Midnight makes it look like a Windows notebook, but if that's your concern, Starlight is a great option, as there are lots of silver and dark gray Windows notebooks.
Not getting the m2 because it supposedly looks like a Windows computer is a very immature and irrational reason, in my opinion. Unfortunately, there are people on the forum with that mentality, who are more concerned about perceived ego status than the performance of the Mac.
I am very pleased with my Midnight Air. I don't regret the color at all.

My midnight mba arrives Monday. 2 local buddies got theirs in and they love in. Can’t believe some hate it because they say looks like a regular windows laptop. Wow. That’s like the new corvette looking like a Ferrari. Cmon now. Get what you like. Who cares what forum folks have to say about it. Enjoy it. My local boy said wow fingerprints. After 1-2 hours he got over it and said looks beautiful on his home office work station. It ain’t a football that’s being tossed around it’s a laptop.

Totally agree btw.
I have a base Midnight Air that I got at the store and a 10/16/512 Starlight on the way. I got the base to see if I would be happy with it.
I am, but plan to return it when the Starlight arrives... not because of the Starlight specs (that helps some) but because the smudges are starting to bug me a little.

I finally got some time with the midnight Air in the Apple store.
The fingerprint issue was definitely not nearly as bad I expected, and any fingerprints that did appear were only noticeable in bright light and wiped off easily. I thought Starlight looked really classy and I like the contrasting colors between the keyboard and the laptop. Midnight is really cool, especially with dark themed wallpapers, but not sure if I'll get sick of such a dark laptop over time. Still conflicted, but at the very least I don't think I would be disappointed with either color which is a relief.
