Huawei 5.5G user experience reaches 10Gbps

Chinese manufacturing giant, Huawei held its Win-Win Innovation Week held on July 18. The company put forward the concept of “moving towards the 5.5G era in an all-round way “. Wang Tao, Executive Director of Huawei and Director of the ICT Infrastructure Business Management Committee, said that the development of technology should further help people move towards real-time interaction with the virtual world and meet human experience requirements such as “near the world” and “immersive”. The 10Gbps network access rate will gradually become popular.

The 5.5G enables a 10Gbps experience through a wider spectrum, higher spectral efficiency, and higher-order MIMO technology. 5.5G business boundaries go beyond connections, enabling innovative business scenarios. Some of these scenarios includes industry private networks, industrial field networks, and new calls.

Huawei 5.5G is innovating in six different directions

Huawei Wang Tao and Gao Quanzhong said last year that 5.5G needs to continue to innovate in six directions, including spectrum reconstruction, uplink enhancement, full-scene IoT, synaesthesia integration, L4 autonomous driving network, and green and low carbon. It will achieve a capacity improvement of more than ten times. This includes the ability to achieve centimetre-level positioning accuracy and the terminal standby time of more than 2 years.

Xu Wenwei, director of Huawei and dean of the Strategic Research Institute, also points out that 5.5G is the next step in the wireless communication industry. 5.5G comes from 5G and needs to be compatible with all 5G devices. 5.5G needs to realize flexible use of sub-100GHz full frequency band on demand. Zhang Ping, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and president of the Zhongguancun Innovation Institute, said that 5.5G mainly focuses on vertical industry expansion, and its network capabilities can also better help vertical industries. Huawei is significantly contributing to the development of 5.5G and it is popularizing the standard. The company is well ahead of Western counterparts.
