消息称苹果汽车最新设计将采用面对面座椅，取消方向盘和刹车踏板
财经网科技7月12日讯，据新浪科技援引外媒消息，苹果汽车将有四个面对面的座位，在宽敞的内部空间中，乘客可以互相交谈，因为它将没有方向盘或刹车踏板，同时还有一个类似于大众甲壳虫车顶的弧形车顶。
外媒称，苹果的目标是获得美国国家公路交通安全管理局（NHTSA）的豁免，以将无方向盘和刹车设计的车辆投放到公共道路上。
此外，苹果公司的设计师还在试验一种后备箱，可以自动升起以方便拿取东西，不使用时又自动降下，据说设计师们还讨论了可上升和下降的大型座椅靠背屏幕。
有传言称，苹果的自动驾驶汽车计划于2025年推出。据外媒报道，苹果公司正在探索如何掩饰该车辆的最终设计，以便最早于明年在公共道路上进行测试。
