据此前LeaksApplePro的爆料，iPad mini 7有望搭载一块支持120Hz刷新率的8.3英寸显示屏，舍弃已经使用了6代之久的60Hz屏幕。
但是显示器行业分析师Ross Young对这个传闻表示怀疑，他在社交媒体上表示， iPad mini的LCD面板与ProMotion并不兼容。
据悉，目前iPad mini 6所采用的是A-Si液晶背板技术。A-Si即非晶硅，因其成本低，生产工艺简单，是显示器市场上的首选显示技术。
在曝出“果冻屏”现象后，苹果在下一代iPad mini中采用ProMotion的传闻开始受到关注。要解决“果冻屏”，对屏幕升级是一个不错的选择。
但是，将高端设备的高刷功能下放到初级产品上，势必会增加生产成本，苹果会如何选择目前尚不可知。
此外，有消息称新款iPad mini预计将会在明年登场，大家还需要耐心等待。
