《极限竞速地平线5》新补丁将支持TAA，并提供多款新车

在近日举行的“Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase”上，微软宣布《极限竞速：地平线5（Forza Horizon 5）》将提供“风火轮”主题DLC，上线时间是2022年7月19日。不过在此之前，Playground Games仍会在《极限竞速：地平线5》“系列赛9”更新上提供一系列新增内容。
在6月21日即将到来的“系列赛9”更新中，《极限竞速：地平线5》PC版将获得时间性抗锯齿（Temporal Anti-Aliasing，TAA）的支持，诸如树叶之类的图形元素将会受益，这是不少玩家一直以来的诉求。过去《极限竞速：地平线5》的游戏引擎仅支持过时的多重采样抗锯齿（Multi-Sample Anti-Aliasing，MSAA）。游戏里还会有一个锐度控制滑块，以便玩家可以微调其最终外观。
新的“系列赛9”中，《极限竞速：地平线5》引入了合作玩地平线赛事的选项，最多可以有六名玩家合作。在合作模式中，小组中获得的最高分数适用于所有参与者，因此即便有些玩家没有达成目标，那些成功达标的玩家也可以为大家完成任务。
此次“系列赛9”还提供了多款新车，包括了2018 HotWheels 2JetZ、1968 Plymouth Barracuda Formula-S、1970 Dodge Coronet Super Bee、1957 Hot Wheels Nash Metropolitan Custom、2012 Hot Wheels Rip Rod、1949 Hot Wheels Ford F-5 Dually Custom Hot Rod、以及2005 Hot Wheels Ford Mustang。
