Recently switched from GitHub Pages to the free tier of Azure StaticWebApps. It provides a lot more configuration options (like http return headers for instance cache-control which is relevant for your lighthouse score)
Might be cool to do a follow up article to compare the options
I have tried it but I don't like it because it don't let you to use a custom domain
I am using it with my domain, kaylumah.nl so not sure what you mean there?

I don't know how the AWS Is provide the free hosting,
It's only for 1 year as fresh account with t2.micro ec2.
So it's only for limited time we can not considered as free.
Please correct me if I am wrong

Thanks for providing a longer list with options, that is certainly helpful.
Could you also provide a list with free/low budget hosters in Europe? I am from the continent of GDPR and would like to keep my homepage save of NSA and economic barriers (should there be another crazy president).

Also W3School provides a small space, a portfolio or something similar. For new web developers ready to create their first site. Browse W3Schools with ads, Build static sites, 1 space, 100 MB storage, 100 MB data / month, 500 requests / month, w3spaces.com subdomain, SSL certificate

It is pretty oldschool but freehostia.com/. I've been hosting a site there free for like 15 years. Can't believe they're still in business, but they are. No complaints.

Currently, hosting is so cheap that it is worth investing in. such hosting will always be better than any free one.
