北京时间6月15日晚间消息，微软公司于6月15日永久关闭IE浏览器。IE浏览器在27年前发布，最初颇受欢迎，到2009年web 1.0时代，IE浏览器仍占据着全球台式电脑65%的市场份额。谷歌的Chrome浏览器于2008年首次亮相，在2012年就超过了IE的市场份额，2016年1月Firefox的用户数量也超过了IE的用户数量。微软现向用户推荐使用该公司在2015年推出的Edge浏览器。截至2022年6月，Edge浏览器的市场份额达到10.4%，领先于Firefox和Opera以及苹果公司的Safari。
