How to Change the Autolock Feature in NordPass

To find Autolock in the desktop app, head to your settings by clicking the gear in the top-right corner of the sidebar. Next, scroll down to the Security section to find Autolock listed below.

Here, you can adjust the timer to lock after a set amount of minutes or hours. You can even choose a day, a week, a month, or never.

Changing your Autolock settings on the desktop app won't adjust it on all your devices. However, you can find Autolock right inside the settings menu on your phone or tablet.

Should You Set Autolock in NordPass to Never?

The important thing to remember is that using NordPass isn't really meant for the convenience of never having to enter a password. First and foremost, NordPass is a password manager meant to help you keep them secure, which means you need to enter the app’s Master Password from time to time.

You want to make sure you practice your Master Password to avoid forgetting it. So maybe it's better for you to enter it every four hours instead of every five minutes.
