iPhone 13 Pro How good is Express replacement?

I found a credit card to use for my express replacement of iPhone 13 for the gap and earpiece issue. ( see post history) Despite this apple store has declined to service my device because they said it’s not an issue even though it clearly is.

Does anyone know if they will likely approve my replacement? If they don’t want happens to the hold on the card? Why not just replace it at the apple store instead of attempting to crosship?
You didn't need to create a new thread covering the same subject as your other thread.

If the express replacement is not approved for some reason, the temporary charge is dropped.

I have used express replacement for intermittent issues that cannot be reproduced at will (ghost touch on the display etc.) and have gotten replacements with no issues. Once they receive your return device, they lift the hold on your card.

Always use the original thread as the line of thought can be followed there. That said, CC charge will be dropped as soon as the defective device is received. Replacement units can either be new or refurbished units. Mind you that refurb units are more vigorously tested than normal devices.

Then what happens? They ship you the new phone first so I would have a new phone but no charge?

so no chance of denying the return? That seems to good to be true

So what would happen if the replacement was “denied” and I had the new device? I’m guessing apple does not care since they make there money from Devices not being sent back

I don’t know about replacement denied. I’ve never had that happen.

Rarely does it happen.

I have never had a replacement denied. In fact the express replacement is the only way I go about getting my phone changed now.

As I saw from your other post, Apple store employees are always a pain whereas over the phone speaking to the AC staff I always get the result I want.

With regard the hold I have had this multiple times. Even had it one time where they said I didn’t return the original phone. After debating abit on the phone they dropped it and released the hold on the card.

To be honest, I can’t remember. I think the speaker might have sounded slightly fuzzy. In the store they done their usual test and told me there was no issue. Where as over the phone they had to take my word for it until it was sent to them. At which point they had sent me a replacement.

Yep that about seems the extent of it . I doubt they are losing money because they can repair devices and sell them as parts at a gain
