Excited to be here and Thank you so much for hunting us @mwseibel

👋 Heya PH Community, We're Requestly! Super stoked to announce the launch of Requestly Android Debugger today. 🥳

What started as a simple side-project while debugging a P0 customer issue, we've never left the core essence of debugging. Requestly started as a Chrome extension to debug JS in production but over course of time, we learned that similar problems exist in Mobile development. Debugging is even harder on mobile devices because there are no developer tools, unlike browsers.

Debugging Android Apps using desktop app-based proxy solutions is a complete mess & time-consuming. We have also used it for the lack of a better product. We decided to make this super simple & efficient for developers. With Requestly Android debugger, developers can seamlessly inspect API traffic directly on phone, or the Web. With just 5-lines of Integration, developers get complete control of the API traffic in the app. You can simulate different API responses & test your app against that.

We're building this as a complete open-source solution, By developers for developers ❤️ - https://github.com/requestly/req... - https://github.com/requestly/req...

Here's a quick run-through of the features we provide - Light-Weight SDK (600Kb) - Complete control on enabling in Debug & Release Builds - Modify API Responses (Static as well as Scripted) - Throttle (or Add Delays) to Network Traffic - ReRoute traffic to staging/development environment for selective (or all) APIs - Collaborate with other developers - Works on BrowserStack and LambdaTest

We also offer all the support you need with Integration. It's quite straight forward but we are here always. Signup for early access and really excited to have you on board.

Looking forward to your feedback and support. Developer Experience Matters!! -SJ

@mwseibel @sachin_jain3 Requestly has been very helpful from day 1 for debugging local web applications with production configuration. Looking forward to using the android debugger. I'm sure it would make it a lot easier to intercept network traffic for an android app.

Congratulations on the launch :) 🎉
