Data Usage for DNS Services with Cellular Data off?
I am experiencing a strange data usage bug with DNS Services and Game Center using small amounts of cellular even though Cellular Data is turned OFF. I am using an iPhone 13 mini on iOS 15.4.1
I am on a Prepaid plan in Switzerland and usually have Cellular Data turned off permanently. Only using data while on Wi-Fi. Despite that setting on the iPhone, I am seeing small amounts of data being used randomly for DNS Services and sometimes Game Center (that I have never used). See screenshots. The problem is that even the smallest data usage is recognized by my provider (Salt) as "booking an unlimited 24h data package" for 1.99 CHF.
Does anyone know how I could stop that? Cannot do more than turn Mobile Data OFF!
