据俄罗斯媒体Habr报道，有开发者反映，自4月13日起Github开始陆续禁封受美国制裁的俄罗斯公司的开发者账户，其中包括俄罗斯银行Sberbank、俄罗斯最大私人银行Alfa-Bank、以及众多相关个体开发商账户。其中Sber bank和Alfa Bank的Github账户最初处于被禁用状态，现已被平台彻底删除。
