OVERVIEW

150k-200k base salary, 0.2-0.4% equity

The role will be 2/3 frontend, 1/3 backend

Ideal candidate:

• 3+ years of software development experience

• Proficiency in React and Node.js

• Have worked on a code base at scale

Responsibilities:

• Own architectural decisions and the technical build-out as we scale

• Build user-facing features on frontend, improve performance and memory footprint

• Improve Motion’s backend services: improve Motion's time management algorithms, manage high web hook traffic, build on top of 3rd party calendar APIs, improve test and deployment process

• Improve engineering processes, tooling, standards

You’ll work directly with the founders to shape the foundations of a promising startup, and eventually lead large parts of engineering at Motion. As one of Motion’s earliest employees, you can be involved with other aspects of startups that may interest you, including: generating product ideas, talking to users, growth hacking, experimentation, marketing.
