LunaSec (YC S19) Is Hiring a Growth Lead to Help Build Our GitHub Community

LunaSec (YC S19) Is Hiring a Growth Lead to Help Build Our GitHub Community 17 minutes ago | hide ## About the role

We are looking for someone with experience in growth as a Founder or Operator that is great at managing feedback from customers and that is able to act as an evangelist by continually improving our user experience (UX). We're building an Open Source product centered around a developer community (GitHub, Conferences, Slack, etc). The ideal candidate would be able to fill in gaps in our skill sets and would provide a fresh perspective that helps solve problems more effectively. You will also be required, on occasion, to act as 1st level support for questions, to capture customer feedback on the experience for our Software Composition Analysis (SCA) product and service line, and to be OK with wearing many hats as we grow.

In this role, you will be collaborating closely with the CEO and engineering team as LunaSec's Growth Lead. Your primary responsibility will revolve around ensuring that our goals around Marketing, Sales, and BD are going smoothly and according to our plans. We don't expect you to know everything right away, and we expect you to lean on us just as much as we'll be leaning on you.

### Our ideal candidate would possess the following skills:

- Native level English speaker (both verbal and written), - Proactive communicator and a team player, - Great attention to detail and organization, - Business / customer feedback background and relevant past experiences, - Understanding of digital growth and community engagement, - Willingness to learn fast within the Cyber Security community on SCA and similar offerings.

### Nice to have skills:

- Developer evangelist background, - Experience managing a blog and social media, - A basic understanding of Cyber Security vulnerability management, - Setting up a CRM business process, - Understanding of marketing principles (campaigns, conversions, and SEO rankings), - Capable of folding hats out of foil.

## Why you should join LunaSec

You care about improving user privacy because you're tired of your personal information constantly getting leaked.

You're interested in working with and learning from a team of world-class Security Engineers. (If you're familiar with the recent "Log4Shell" or "Spring4Shell" Java vulnerabilities, then you're familiar with our work. Check out a few links about that below[0][1][2][3][4].)

You will have a direct impact on the course of Application Security by helping us to disrupt an existing, stagnant market.

You won't be angry if you end up mushroom foraging with your boss or hanging out in a school bus that your colleague spent 18 months turning into a house.
