When using Android both one plus and Samsung uses SBC, based off developer options. I assume apple does too...it's definitely on Samsung's end. I've googled this issue before and seems it's widespread and none of the temporary fixes help...Ive contacted Samsung about it...but it's hard to replicate the issue. Basically on Samsung devices the highs on music has static noises
Apple can use LDAC as can Samsung if your reciever supports it on inputs.
I would use the UHQ upscaling feature and the C port jack output instead.
