Custom Pricing & Operations Manager
The Custom Pricing & Operations Manager will support the Global Investment Programs team by designing, launching and supporting custom pricing strategies across Meta’s suite of hardware and software products. This role will initially support the Business Messaging Group, with a focus on the WhatsApp Business API. In this role, you will partner with our Program Management, Sales, Business Development, Product, Legal and Finance teams to design, execute and oversee custom pricing structures as part of ongoing business as well as specific pricing changes.
Custom Pricing & Operations Manager Responsibilities
Partner with Leadership, Sales, Accounting, Legal and Finance to translate pricing strategy and revenue plans into commercially viable discount frameworks for transitions and new deals.
Modify and adjust business-level pricing and packaging strategy to accommodate the nuanced needs of different regions, segments, countries, and channel partners.
Establish principles & framework for reviewing and renewing custom pricing deals, keeping in mind the possibility of future pricing or packaging changes and ensuring compliance with obligations, operational constraints and relevant regulatory requirements.
Balance revenue acceleration needs with Meta’s constraints by adjusting commercial models and technical implementations to accommodate nascent infrastructure.
Coordinate with legal, finance, accounting, sales, ops, product and PMM to align GTM strategy with internal operations like CRM and contract template updates.
Manage guardrails and execution of bridge solutions and renewal motions at the regional and segment level to ensure transparent and expeditious deal decisions can be made.
Work with Sales Operations to enable deal pipeline tracking and reporting, using multiple internal systems and tools.
Ensure approvals required for non-standard deals have been properly documented, raised to the right approval levels, and resolved.
Develop and manage communication including internal enablement and operational updates.
Drive operational excellence by identifying and executing processes that create efficiency, remove obstacles and improve operational metrics.
Manage relationships with cross-functional partners, helping them to understand our needs and ensuring that mechanisms and business processes drive higher levels of internal collaboration.
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years of work experience (or 4+ years and an advanced degree) in one or more of the following: strategy or operations within the Consumer Tech, SaaS, Enterprise Tech, Business Messaging, or Platform Partnerships industries or relevant consulting experience.
Deal making expertise with demonstrated experience understanding and communicating legal, commercial, regulatory, and operational risk.
Experience using data to create compelling stories that communicate key messages across the organization and to influence various levels of management.
Experience in presenting to and influencing leadership at all levels of an organization.
Demonstrated advanced Excel experience to develop, optimize, and streamline complex commercial models.
Experience working in a fast-moving, often uncertain environment and to adapt to new teams, roles and responsibilities in an ongoing fashion.
Experience working with or in support of diverse communities.
Team player with demonstrated project management skills. Will be asked to keep multiple projects and programs moving simultaneously.
Analytical, strategic-thinking, problem solving, and organizational skills as well as the experience to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Works well under pressure, resourceful, works well independently and is a self-starter. Experience in driving and maintaining healthy cross-boundary collaboration.
Experience building or documenting business processes and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
Channel program experience (Selling through partners).
Experience in building complex financial models and discount frameworks and ROI analyses.
