The best Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra deals for March 2022

We're rounding up all of this week's best Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra deals into one handy page right here - perfect if you're looking for a discount on this admittedly pricey device. Regardless of whether you're going with a carrier, prepaid, or unlocked, all the top options have been included.

Things are starting to quieten down a bit now after an initially busy launch phase. That said, there are some great Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra deals still up for grabs if you're interested. In particular, both AT&T and Verizon have great trade-in options currently - as does Samsung itself, which remains a top destination for unlocked devices.

Coming in at $1,199.99 on its baseline 128GB storage variant, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is the priciest device of the three new Samsung Galaxy phones - more akin to the Note range of phablets. At $100 more expensive than its main rival - the iPhone 13 Pro Max, the Galaxy S22 is a hefty investment for those who are really serious about their phones.

Luckily, there are a number of upgrades - both aesthetic and internal - to help justify that huge price tag. The brand new design now features beautiful squared-off edges, a curved screen on the sides, and an integrated S-Pen stylus. Power-wise, you're getting the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, while the new adaptive refresh rate display aims to help squeeze out as much life as possible from the expansive 5,000 mAh battery. Put together with its stunning 6.8-inch AMOLED display, this is one impressive device indeed.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra deals

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra: BOGO, or save up to $1,000 with a trade-in, plus $1,000 with switch at VerizonVerizon's kept up the same excellent Galaxy S22 Ultra deals since launch with a great choice between a huge trade-in rebate on a single device or the carrier's buy-one get-one promo. Both of those are eligible with lines on unlimited data plans and available to both new and existing customers. If you are a new customer, then you can also take advantage of a welcome gift card up to $1,000 in value, which can be used to pay off any pesky termination fees, should you switch.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra: save up to $800 with an eligible trade-in and unlimited plan at AT&TAnother top carrier for Galaxy S22 Ultra deals, consider AT&T if you want a reliable unlimited data plan and a great trade-in rebate on your device. This week's maximum saving of $800 is enough to significantly cut this large device's equally large price tag right down to size. Note, as with most big carrier promotions this particular deal is eligible with unlimited data plans only.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra: up to $850 off with trade-in at Samsung
Regardless of whether you're going for a carrier or unlocked device, Samsung's own Galaxy S22 Ultra deals offer some great trade-in rebates for launch. Right now, there are two good reasons to consider the 'official' retailer. One, it's offering exclusive colors that you can't get anywhere else, and two, it's also offering some unique bundle options, should you want to pick up a Galaxy Tab S7 FE or Samsung Freestyle projector.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra: $400 off with new line, plus up to $350 off with trade-in at Xfinity MobilePrepaid Galaxy S22 Ultra deals are quite thin on the ground at launch and we expect them to be so for a few good months. You can, however, get a great new customer saving on a device at Xfinity Mobile right now, a smaller carrier that's offering $400 off your device payments over 24 months. Also available at this carrier are fairly competitive trade-in rates, which we'd recommend for added value.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra: up to $1,000 off with a trade-in at Best Buy
Best Buy's Galaxy S22 Ultra deals closely mirror those of the big carriers themselves - namely with a focus on big trade-in rebates. Previously, this retailer was also offering $100 activation rebates on both unlocked and carrier devices, which made it a very strong option all around. As it stands though, it's essentially just a back-up retailer should you not be able to get your device from Verizon, T-Mobile, or AT&T itself.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra: $1,199 at Amazon
Amazon was offering exclusive $100 gift cards with all unlocked device purchases just this past week - one of the better S22 Ultra deals on the market - but that's ended now, unfortunately. For the time being, it's full price, which means we'd recommend holding off for now if you're interested in this retailer. Alternatively, trade-in for a discount on an unlocked device over at Samsung itself.

OS: Android 12 | Screen size: 6.8-inch AMOLED, 120Hz| Resolution: 1440 x 3200 | CPU: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 | Memory: 8GB | Weight: 229g |Storage: 128 / 256| Battery: 5,000mAh | Rear camera: 12MP ultrawide / 108MP wide / 10 MP telephoto | Front camera: 40MP

The Galaxy S22 Ultra is the most 'different' device in the new range of Samsung devices - a 'Note' phablet in all but name. It's large, it's powerful, and it's a device that will make even the most well-adjusted of your friends green with envy.

With a launch price of $1,199, this incredibly expensive flagship device is squarely aimed at the enthusiast market - the kind that's willing to fork out serious bucks for something a bit more special than the competition.

While the standard Galaxy S22 and S22 Plus serve as iterative upgrades to an already excellent foundation. The Galaxy S22 Ultra breaks away with a completely new squared-off design, slightly curved edges, and a gorgeous full aluminum chassis. Previously, the Ultra shared the same 'camera bump' as the standard devices, but that's gone now in favor of each individual lens having its own housing. There's also a neatly integrated housing for the S-Pen in the bottom of the device - perfect for hiding away the stylus when you're not using it.

Internally, you're getting the same Snapdragon Gen 8 1 chipset as on the standard S22 devices here - a powerful, modern chip that's going to easily breeze through even the most demanding of applications. As with all S22 models, the Ultra also features a new adaptive refresh rate display, which is going to help get as much battery life as possible while providing a silky-smooth experience on the expansive 6.8-inch AMOLED display.

At launch, the Galaxy S22 Ultra comes in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage models. The 128GB model features 8GB of RAM, while the expanded storage versions feature an expanded 12Gb of RAM respectively. Colors at launch are Phantom Black, Phantom White, Burgundy, and Green.
