Introducing Moxie for Makers, Patreon’s First Spotify Playlist

October 9, 2019Matt St. John

At Patreon, we’re big believers in the power of music to inspire creativity.

Whether we’re engineering new features for creators, answering support emails, or writing articles for the Patreon blog, we’re most likely doing it within big pairs of headphones.

No matter what you create, music can be a great motivator. That’s why we’re creating playlists on Spotify, so you can not only find your muse — you can dance with it, too.

Introducing Patreon Playlist #1: Moxie for Makers

As far as we’re concerned, “moxie” is a term that isn’t used enough these days. Have you ever had to find the courage to overcome something difficult? That’s moxie, and it’s an essential ability in a creator’s tool kit.

Whether it’s writer’s block, rejection, or a daunting stack of merch that needed to be sent out to fans yesterday, sometimes we creators need a pick-me-up — so when you hit your next set back, check out Moxie for Makers, our first Spotify playlist.

The artists on this playlist aren’t promoting or representing Patreon. This is music that inspires us, get-up-and-go tracks spanning hip hop, R&B, pop, and electronic, to give you a boost when you need it most.

Check out the playlist below and follow us on Spotify so you can be the first to know about future playlists.
