咖啡厅里，一位无意中听到旁人闲聊情感话题的男人发出了提问：“什么是爱？” 在接下来的14分钟里，导演用画面，围绕着这个问题，进行了探讨——不停在社交软件上配对的一男一女；把橱窗模特误认为是旧情人的流浪汉；一名将要自杀的少女；捧着玫瑰在大雨中奔跑的男子……这部动画采用四条故事线，讲述了不一样的关于爱的故事，试图探究爱情的定义。
导演Alberto Mielgo是动画大神，曾参与过《蜘蛛侠：平行宇宙》、《看门狗：军团》等多个世界知名项目。其作品《爱，死亡和机器人》以亮眼风格获得多项大奖，被称为动画界的天花板。
