Discussion of uncomfortable topics
Noticed a story posted on the main page this morning that is closed for comments. I understand not being allowed to discuss that topic, but what about a discussion around whether that topic could lead to increased prices of Apple products?

I don't see how a discussion related to that topic could be had without it drifting over into comments involving politics or social issues, and we don't allow that outside the Political News forum.
@Mark Holmes The editors disable comments on topics experience has shown will result in a lot of moderator workload.
