《Apex英雄》是一款Live Service类型（即在游戏发售后，提供长期的内容更新服务）的大逃杀游戏，而近期重生工作室的开发者在接受采访时，对游戏是否将推出续集做出了回应。
在接受华盛顿邮报采访时，重生工作室《Apex英雄》游戏总监Steven Ferreira讨论了这一点。根据Ferreira的说法，开发《Apex英雄》最酷的事情之一就是它是Live Service类型的游戏，他们认为没有任何理由去重启IP或推出续集，所以目前没有续集的计划，也没有取消续集的计划。
Ferreira还表示，除了已在开发日程表上的内容，他们还想在《Apex英雄》中尝试更多内容，所以这款游戏只会在自身内部继续发展——而不是通过开发续集。
